Amboseli
Serena Lodge Build
in the shadow of the snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro Africa's highest Mountain
6000m above the sea level, and behind a copse of giant acacia trees and
gently flowing natural spring, Amboseli Lodge is equipped with 96 rooms,
and a very cool swimming pool and the entire set up represents a Manyatta
atire.
Traditional
feasts and tribal dancing overlooking the waterhole where big game gathers.
In the evening Maasai dance performances, music and entertainment, informative
talks on indigenous culture by the lodge naturalist. Amboseli makes the
largests concentration of wild Elephants in the continent.
Kilimanjaro
Buffallo Lodge
This lodge has excellent views of the mountain, and the Hemingway Bar
gives good view of back towards the chulu hills. There's a swimming pool
and a demonstration of Masai dance very evening.
Oltukai
Lodge
This lodge is camouflaged in a forest of fever trees and palms. From your
room stretches a panorama of landscape, sky and wildlife with the massive
majesty of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in the background. This lodge makes
an unusual and very attractive conference venue and all visual aids and
facilities are on hand.
Tortillis
Camp
This Marks the most exclusive and luxurious tented camp in this Park.
It is a paradise and the perfect value of your money. The property and
services match the value of the property.
Campsites There
is one public campsite in this park and since it's a warm place only cold
water is used for shower and a pit latrine is available The cooks however
erect their tents on the open plains of Amboslei and its quit an adventure
to see them prepare their meals.

Campsites

Places
to Stay at the Tsavo West.
Tsavo
West has quite a number of campsites, at least one at each main entry/gate,
namely (Tsavo gate , Mtito Andei gate and Chyulu gate). Located on the
park, the campsites provides cold showers and flash toilets.
There are
campsites at the Voi gate, Kanderi swamp (Ndololo campsite), Aruba Lodge
and the Mukwaju Campsite on the Voi River 50km in from the main gate.
It's just in the middle of the park and unfenced and there is no showers,
only a tank of water for cooking. There is only one long drop toilet.
The Kitani
camp on the northwest and Ngulia Safari Camps on the edge of the Ngulia
Hills offers a magnificent view of the hills all providing alternative
accommodation in this area of Tsavo West.
Both camps
consist of one-bedroom bandas with bedding, towels, mosquito nets, bathroom,
a fully equipped kitchen, and kerosene lanterns. recommended to bring
with you is your toriletaris,
Getting
to the Park(West)
Off Mombasa road the main access to Tsavo West is through the Mtito Andei
Gate on the Mombasa-Nairobi road on the northern end of the park where
there is also a campsite and the headquarters of the park. A further 48km
along the main road away from Nairobi, is the Tsavo gate, where there's
another campsite. There is also a road running west from the Chyulu gate,
which connects Tsavo West with Amboseli.
Kilaguni
lodge
This lodge belongs together with Ngulia and only 31 km from the main gate
of Tsavo. Among many other attraction around here includes the famous
water hole, which attracts a wide variety of game. The lodge give the
best view of the Chyulu hills out to the northwest.
The
lodge belongs the Kenya safari lodges and its a comfortable and beauty
scenic lodge with great views and excellent services. There are single/doubles
with full board. Overlooking is a water hole which attracts alot of wild
life and commonly seen are leopards, which visits each evening to pick
up meat strung up on a dead tree outside the patio. Many other animals
make a regular visits here in quech for thirst, and among them are Elephants.

Voi Safari Lodge
It is situated in Voi town. There are single/doubles
with full board. This Is a quality accommodation and quite uniquely erected
at the best site of Voi. It is at Voi lodge that all day trip buses meet
for lunch and the big word about Voi is their Food! It is very recommended
and this has been for time now! The other attraction about this lodge
is the location, that suits the photographers, nature lover, and the well
placed pool right high at the view point such that from the pool in the
open sun one can also enjoy the wildlife a they gather to drink water
down the water halls.
Tsavo
Safari Camp
Kilimanjaro Safari Club runs this, and it is in a beautiful shady spot
on the banks of River Athi. The camp is very peaceful and is a great place
to chill out for a few days. There is also a swimming pool, and game drives
can be arranged for the energetic.
The
Taita Hills & the Salt Lick Lodge
Erected superbly on the southwest side of Tsavo, these two lodges are
private and offers variety of game in a private reserve and scenic spectacular
views. Game is prolific in this area and the presence of this Lodges is
a great pleasure to the lucky people who seek accommodation here. More
over there is an advantage of the Hot air Balloon which fly’s from
this destination of the Tsavo Park on a early hours of the morning not
to mention the railway crossing which bisects the reserve on the Southern
part of these two lodges reserve to
Voyager
Safari camp - Tsavo West.
Voyager safari camp is a tented camp offering excellent accommodation
and unique personal services. Voyager camp is situated in the shadow of
Majestic Mount Kilimanjaro on the edge of Kenya largest National Park
Tsavo to the West. It is standing on a 30,000 acres private farm, and
on the edge of a small secluded Dam on the Sante River. You can get to
this camp by road or by Air which take only 20 from Nairobi, and 30 minute
from Mombasa ,and 2 hr. drive from Voi town. By road. There are 25 tents
which are located differently, with 16 on the Southern bank of Sante river
and 9 on the Northern bank of the river.The camp overlooks the Ziwa Dam
The reception at the this camps is big welcome home away from home with
a welcome drink to every guest. Facilities here includes luxury tented
camps, restaurant, souvenir shop, bookshop, email services, an air strip.
