Entertainment/Night Life in Mombasa.

Entertainment and disco is plenty in Mombasa, depending on how one wishes to spend his/her evening, there is a lot of choices to make from International Nightclubs, Casinos, Theaters, Beach Walks around the open Beach Bars etc.

Pirates
Pirates is a beach bar/restaurant right to the beach on the North coast stream line of beaches. It is located along the Public Beach ,and next to Bora Bora International Night club on the north coast. It serves as a restaurant and at night it offers nightlife Disco with dinner. It has an exclusive peace of a Disco in a secluded area and the services are quite of a standard. Most of the people dinning in this atmosphere are tourist from different destination of the coast. An extended nightlife will take to the open disco just within the restaurant and the disco is open after dinner, thus after 21:30 hrs. An advantage of a close by Bora Bora incase you need a change.

Bamburi Watersports
Bamburi water sport is an open Beach Bar right on the beach next to the Ocean View Beach Hotel, and its one of the interesting places to be on the North coast. It carries all ages and mostly families on Sundays. It is open daily on weekdays but Sunday is the special family day with open shows and events like, African Music "Ndombolo"with young tarlents of music performances. Operation starts at 2pm and by 4 pm the performance starts. You must make sure that you are early enough before the performances starts so that you have secured seat before you miss one! A day at Bamburi water sport is something to remember!

Bora Bora- International Night Club
This is the best of Mombasa and the Northcoast! It serves tourist and locals from all over the coast! It opens from 21hrs and closes at down. Ever heard of Bora International Show? It is quite something to see but you must hold yourself if easy tuned! It is really exiting to see! The Bora Bora shows starts at midnight and each day they have a different schedule show, or acrobat, which all the same leaves you panting! Of course it is exiting! Just beside the night club, is the Jungle Village, an heritage and cultural restaurant which serves all kinds of menus, and right opposite is an open Bar, with life Bands or one man Guitar on some day of the week. A night at Bora Bora is necer wasted Ipromise!

Aloha Disco is located right on the beach on the North coast. Aloha is next to Plaza Beach and Severine Sea lodge. It is an open air Disco and most romantic! It serves [people from the nearby beach hotels and also give the tourist the exposure of the local people, there is no entry fee but on special occasions/events they do charge!

Florida/Casino- This is along the lighthouse side and is just on the beach side though not in the open air, It is a place not to miss but don't go alone unless you wish to get a partner! For those really looking for fun, and chats Florida will serve the best! At midnight they present an international Show for the audience and if not interested of the Disco, there is a casino where you can play , and Bingo, you win

Mamba Village: The famous Touristic site for both the Mamba Disco and the Crocodile farm. It is located at the Link road opposite the Nyali golf club and under the ground at the Crocodile farm area and the mamba Restaurant. It is one of the night life places!

Tembo Disco- located at the Main Mombasa / Malindi Road opposite
the Bamburi Nature Trail, Tembo has a daily open throughout restaurant, which serves al Carte menu. Only the Disco is charged but Main Bar is open and no charge is required. On Sundays it's a family day and Tembo presents a children entertainment’s from 2 pm till 9pm.

Toyz Disco
This located off the Nkuruma road on the Mombasa Island, it serves the island with night life Disco and quite safe.

Other open Discos on the island includes
Casablanca, Fontanella in town.

Noon's (Nyali Beach)
Now on the beach location at the Nyali beach hotel, noon’s offers very great atmosphere with an open disco. It is a perfect disco with a beach front and clear walking side at night.

Alibarba - South coast. This is an open Beach bar which serves as a Bar/restaurant serving people from all over Diani and ukunda, offering the nightlife and giving chance to mix with the local people within the beach and outside area.
