SAFARIS FROM MOMBASA

There are very many activities from this Island of Mombasa, from Sundowners cruise, Boating, Walking Safaris to the various nature parks, and museums, like Bamburi Nature trail- Baobab, Mamba village, etc, while Kenya's largest National Park - Tsavo, is only some few kilometers from Mombasa. It is the only base to the Kenya Rainforest Park, Shimba hills, and close to the Mwalunganje Elephant camp.

The most frequently visited Parks from this Island includes the Tsavo National Park at Tsavo, and which consists of 2 sections Tsavo East and West and which are divided by the famous Nairobi Mombasa high way. The park is commonly known for its huge red Elephants and nicknamed lions as the Man Eaters of Tsavo. The Chullu Hills, shetani, Mzima Springs and lake and Dams in this park all create an attraction among other catch and wildlife. Taita Hills, a private sanctuary with its wings Salt Lick, is a great experience with the only place around Tsavo for hot air balloon.

Further to the south is Shimba Hills Rainforest Park, famous for its Colobus Monkey and thick bushes, providing adequate home to birds, Antelopes, Wildebeests, Lion, Elephant among other Species, and game.
Amboseli marks another, attraction and one the Kenya's first and best sites, and its magnificent views of Africa’s highest Mountain Kilimanjaro.

The Amboseli River is home to many mammals and Crocodiles, and many fish species, as well as birds. The nearest way to be in Amboseli from Mombasa is via the Tsavo West though might be forced to pay for Park fees for Tsavo West, a game drive enroute is also recommended for as long as 24 hours.
Safaris from Mombasa to other Kenya Destinations and Northern Parks can be arranged and is recommended to the other sides of Maasai Mara, Samburu, Mt Kenya and to the famous Great rift valley region with its great lakes and as well.
