Kilimanjaro is the Highest Mountain in Africa and the pride of Tanzania. Mt. Kilimanjaro covers 5895m above the sea level, and it’s a source of mineral waters supplying even to Kenya and neighbouring countries. There are several routes, all taking you to the highest point in Africa!

Some recommended routes includes the Famous Marangu Route ,which is well known and nicknamed "Coca Cola route" There are several huts inthis route and the recommended days of climbs are 5 to 6 days. The trekking starts from the Marangu gate and exit is through Marangu gate.

The Machame Route, which is the commonest route and nicknames the "Whisky Route", is popular and the accommodation is in the tents. Recommended days of climb are 6 days. The trekking begins from the Machame Gate and the exit is through the Mweka Park gate.

The Umbwe Route -Trekking at this route starts and exit at the Umbwe Gate,and accommodation is in the tents, and the recommended days of climb are 4 to 5 days.

Shira Route - In this route accomodation is in the tents and trekking starts from the Londorossi gate while exit is through Mweka gate. There are two other alternatives of this route. The recommended no of climb days is 6 to 7 days.

MOUNT MERU -Mount Meru is the second highest point in Tanzania and boasts of 3820 m above the sea level and accommodation is in the tents. There are great view of the Kilimanjaro dome and the Momella and the Meru Summit and crater horseshoe(ashcone). There are several routes to Mt. Meru top and the recommended days of climb is 3 to 4 days.

Recommended is several pairs of thin layer cloths as opposed to a few thick ones/ or synthetic material for quick dryness and well "broken into" boots to avoid irritations, pain or blisters.
